Hello, my name is Pamela Holmes, and I’m a Dental Therapist. I graduated from Curtin University in 2006 and have worked across both the private and public sectors.
Over the years, I’ve noticed a common challenge: parents and carers often aren’t given the right information early enough. Those first years of life are critical for growth, development, tooth structure, anatomy, feeding habits, and airway health. Yet too often, families don’t realise how important early dental screening and guidance can be until it's presented with pain, trauma and financial and psychological burdens that oral dysfunction and dental disease can bring.
At Looksee Dental, my goal is to change that story. By raising awareness and providing practical, easy-to-understand education, I help families prevent decay, support healthy development, and reduce the need for complex treatment later in life.
From airway and feeding concerns to growth, development, and dental decay, I’m here to empower parents and carers with the tools they need to give their children the very best start. Together, we can break down the trauma and stigma sometimes associated with dental appointments, and build a healthier future for our community — both for our whole bodies and our teeth.
