Dentally Aware Daycares is an early years oral health and airway awareness program designed to gently equip educators with the confidence to recognise simple signs that may need further attention.
Delivered by Pamela, an AHPRA registered Dental Therapist with over 23 years of experience, this community-focused education empowers early childhood staff to:
• Lift the lip and notice early visible changes
• Observe simple airway red flags
• Review snack and habit impacts
• Communicate with families in a supportive, non-judgemental way
A 3-hour Professional Development session is available for teams wanting deeper training, practical guidance and open Q&A in a supportive learning environment.
This is not a clinical screening service. It is prevention-based education that helps create environments where oral health is understood, supported and normalised from the very beginning.

1.5 Hour In-Service Training

Includes certificate of attendance for staff.

3 Hour Professional Development

Travel outside Albany charged at $0.95 per km + accommodation if required.

Looksee sessions are educational consultations only.
They do not include oral examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning or clinical procedures.
As these are non-clinical educational services:
• They are not eligible for private health insurance rebates
• They are not claimable through Medicare
• They do not fall under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
Families are encouraged to attend their registered dental practitioner for all clinical dental assessments and treatment.
