Looksee Pre-Dental Familiarity & Home Education Sessions
Creating calm, confident children BEFORE they ever sit in the dental chair.
At Looksee, these sessions are designed to gently prepare children and families for a more positive in-clinic dental experience.
This is not a clinical appointment.
There are no instruments, no examinations and no treatment.
Instead, this is a relaxed, supportive educational session that allows families to slow down, ask questions and build familiarity before entering a busy clinical environment.
In-Home Pre-Dental Familiarity Sessions
Delivered in the comfort of your home or mother group, these one-on-one sessions allow your child to feel safe in their own environment while learning what to expect at the dental clinic.
Sessions may include:
• Talking through what happens at a dental visit
• Practising “open wide” and reclining positions
• Learning simple Tell-Show-Do preparation techniques
• Understanding brushing in your real bathroom setup/ play based dental desensitising
• Discussing common fears or past experiences
• Parent Q&A time without feeling rushed/ education and support
Dental clinics are often busy. Appointments can feel quick due to clinical schedules and operational demands. When children walk in already familiar with the process, the entire experience shifts.
The goal is simple:
Less fear. More confidence. A smoother, more rewarding in-clinic appointment.

• Age-appropriate oral development
• Early habit and airway considerations

These are supportive, community-focused education sessions designed to empower parents with knowledge and confidence.
Because when families understand early, outcomes change long-term.
